Chocolate Millet Bar

Chocolate Millet Bar is a healthier twist on the classic candy bar made with rajgira, choco chips and coconut oil. The millet adds a crunchy texture and a nutty flavor to the bars. These bars are easy to make, rich in healthy fats and a great energy source for your kid.

Ingredients
  • ¼ Cup of Rajgira (55 g)
  • 1/8 Cup of chocolate chips (23 g)
  • 3 Scoops Prohance Junior powder (27 g)
  • 4 Dates, deseeded and chopped (16 g)
  • 1/10 Teaspoon sea salt (0.12 g)
  • 1 Teaspoon of coconut oil (5 ml)
Instructions
  1. Heat the wide pan evenly over medium heat.
  2. Add rajgira seeds and cover with a lid (Pop the rajgira seeds in small batches for a crisp texture). It will start to pop immediately.
  3. Shake the pan in between to get all seeds moving evenly to avoid getting burnt.
  4. Repeat the steps for the rest of the rajgira seeds to make puffs.
  5. In a bowl, add chocolate chips, chopped dates and coconut oil.
  6. Microwave till it melts then add a pinch of sea salt, Prohance Junior powder and mix well.
  7. Add prepared rajgira puffs and mix gently.
  8. Take a tray, place parchment paper, and spread the chocolate rajgira puff mixture.
  9. Refrigerate till set and cut into rectangle pieces and enjoy.
